South West Surrey MP Jeremy Hunt and several Godalming Councillors attended the public exhibition of the latest Key Site proposals on Friday. The developer, D&M Partnership unveiled the latest plans at Godalming Baptist Church and residents were able to view them over a two day period. The general consensus seemed to be that they were a marked improvement and a step in the right direction for the long overdue Key Site development.
Jeremy said: “The developer has tried very hard to take on board local concerns and there is no doubt the new scheme is a massive improvement on the previous one. There is a long way to go but it does now feel this scheme could turn into something that is in keeping with Godalming's historic centre.""
