On Friday, Vice-Chancellor Professor Bashir Makhoul met with Foreign Secretary and local Farnham MP Jeremy Hunt. The Vice-Chancellor took this opportunity to update the Foreign Secretary on the University for the Creative Arts, and in particular its international partnership development activity.
The University for the Creative Arts is the second largest provider of creative arts education in Europe. The University offers a global perspective in creative education, with seventeen percent of our students coming to study with us from overseas and strong collaborative links with over fifty partner institutions around the world.
Jeremy commented: “It was a genuine pleasure to learn more about the many recent successes and ambitious new plans for UCA Farnham. We should never forget the contribution the creative industries make on the British economy and I am very proud that we have one of the best creative arts universities here in Farnham.”
