South West Surrey MP and Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport, Jeremy Hunt, took part in an archery session on Speaker’s Green on Monday at the Houses of Parliament. This was the first time any sport has ever been played in Parliament and the event was held to celebrate 150 years of archery. Jeremy joined other MPs to try his hand at the game and successfully hit a gold on his attempt. Jeremy said “It is not as easy as it looks and my score was flattered by having a brilliant coach telling me to aim up or aim down before I fired. Thank goodness we have some rather better archers in Team GB and we wish them every success as they prepare for 2012.”
