Local MP Jeremy Hunt was one of the first people to walk through the long awaited A3 tunnel on Saturday as thousands of local residents experienced the soon to be opened tunnel on foot. Jeremy was joined by other dignitaries including Baroness Bottomley and the Bishop of Guildford. The tunnel will open officially to traffic in a few months.
